Moving your files from the old computer
We copy your documents, photos, music, videos and desktop files across, along with browser bookmarks and saved settings, then check everything opened correctly on the new machine. Your old computer keeps its copy until you’re happy, so every file stays safe throughout.

Old computer won’t start?
If the old machine has failed, we can often recover the files straight from its drive. If the drive itself is failing, our data recovery service starts with a free diagnosis.

What files can you move to my new computer?
Documents, photos, music, videos, desktop files, browser bookmarks and saved settings. We also reinstall the programs you use and check your email is working.
Can you transfer files from a computer that won’t start?
Often, yes. If the old drive is healthy we can usually copy your files directly from it. If the drive is failing, see our data recovery service.
Will you set up my printer and Wi-Fi too?
Yes. We connect the new computer to your Wi-Fi and printers and make sure everything works before we finish.
