These terms apply to repairs and services provided by PC Laptop Repair, 21 Inglehurst Gardens, Ilford IG4 5HD. By booking a repair you agree to them.

Quotes and prices

  • Our published prices are starting prices for labour. Parts are quoted separately for your exact make and model.
  • We give you the full price after diagnosis, and the repair goes ahead once you’ve agreed it.
  • If we find something else that needs attention during a repair, we’ll explain it and get your agreement before doing any extra work.

Diagnosis

Diagnosis is free when you drop your computer off or arrange collection.

Home visits

  • Home and office visits are available within 3 miles of IG4.
  • Each visit has an £80 callout charge, which applies to every visit.
  • Any repair carried out is charged on top of the callout.

Remote support

Remote support is charged from £40, and the price is agreed before the session starts.

Payment

Payment is due once the repair is complete. The home visit callout is payable at the visit.

Your data

  • We recommend backing up your files before any repair. If you need help with this, ask us.
  • We only access the files and settings on your computer that are needed to carry out the repair.
  • If you need files recovered, our data recovery service is quoted separately.

Collecting your computer

Once your computer is ready, we’ll let you know. We keep repaired and unrepaired devices for one month from that date, so please collect yours within that time.

Warranty

Every repair comes with a 3-month warranty covering both parts and labour. See our warranty for details.
